Valentine's Wreath

In an attempt to distract myself from my life I raided the thrift store and found one of those wicker looking wreaths for $0.50. I went home, grabbed some ribbon and an old book and did it up for Valentine's day. I'm not really sure how I feel about the finished product. To me its like too much, or I don't know, something just isn't quite right. If you can figure it out let me know!!

Class Wreath

I made this wreath with the extended day class I work in. We had the kids write their names on construction paper lights and strung them. Then we glued them, Christmas balls, and a banner with our programs name onto a wreath. It ended up being a nice, personalized Christmas decoration!

Tie Wreath

So I was once again searching for crafts and found this: It's the  Second Picture. I knew I had ties sitting around from another failed project (I wanted to make a skirt, but lack of sewing skills totally killed that idea.) so I found a wreath frame for $1.00 at the thirft store and got to work.

The directions say to sew, but i used a glue gun for the entire thing.

Another project that came out awesome, and nothing to do with it. Oh well, it gave me something to do for an hour!
