Yay for Babies!!

Earlier this month my bestest friend found out she was pregnant! YAYYYYYYYY

Congrats Amanda and Kevin!!!!!!

Sadly, my Amanda moved to NC. I live in NJ. I miss her dearly, but that won't stop me from making this baby everything under the sun!!! So naturally, I've been crafting away.

I started with water colors of baby animals I thought would look adorable in any babies room. Then I found frames at AC Moore (I was gonna make em myself but they were on sale so I went for it!)

How cute will these looks in a nursery?!?

Babyshower

Today we had a baby shower for the teacher I work with. The parents in my class are awesome and put together an amazing little party. I too, did my contributions. Starting with chocolate covered Nutter butters and marshmallows.

The kids went gaga for the marshmallows. The parents loved the Nutter Butters. All went well.

Then I saw this baby's first year display on someone else's blog. They did a monkey themed one and used it as a centerpiece. Luckily Megan from  Bare Foot Copy Cat knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me the LINK. Thanks girl!  I loved it and searched for it everywhere and cannot seem to find it again to give them credit for my inspiration (if anyone knows where I saw this, LET ME KNOW!)
Anyways, It's a display where you put a picture for each month of the baby's first year.

Its adorable and I worked all night to get it done for today.

She seemed to really like it and I thought it was just TOOOOO cute.

Baby Blocks

The teacher I work with is pregnant. I hope to take over for her when she leaves on maternity (more wishful thinking). Of course, when she leaves I will give her a gift. I found something really unique here. Instead of using wooden blocks though, i used foam blocks so they were more colorful and kid friendly. I also had the students in our class color the pictures and I wrote their name on the bottom of the picture. This way the teacher is getting a personalized gift from each and ever student in the class. PLUS, she has something so special to give her new baby.

Box that the blocks go into

Shes naming the baby Kayla so I made the blocks spell her name. A little surprise when she opens it up.

The students colored all the pictures!
